Teemo

Opening

Champion's story

Despite facing the most perilous and intimidating challenges, Teemo fearlessly explores the world with limitless enthusiasm and an ever-cheerful demeanor. This yordle possesses an unshakable moral compass and finds great satisfaction in adhering to the principles of the Bandle Scout's Code, occasionally to the point where he overlooks the wider repercussions of his actions. While there may be debates about the Scouts' validity, one undeniable fact remains: Teemo's unwavering dedication is not to be underestimated.

Teemo stands as a legendary figure among his yordle brethren within the bustling enclave of Bandle City. Yet, among yordles, there's always been a subtle peculiarity to him. While he cherishes the camaraderie of his fellow yordles, Teemo also insists on embarking on solitary missions to safeguard Bandle City. His warm and genuine personality contrasts sharply with the transformation that occurs within him during combat. In the heat of battle, a switch flips inside Teemo's mind, allowing him to take lives without bearing the weight of it. Even in his early days as a recruit, those who trained alongside him and the drill instructors found it somewhat unsettling how Teemo, typically charming and amiable, would become deadly serious and extraordinarily efficient the moment combat exercises commenced.

Teemo scene

Recognizing his unique aptitude, Teemo's superiors swiftly directed him toward the Scouts of the Mothership, one of Bandle City's most esteemed Special Forces units, alongside the Megling Commandos.

Unlike most yordles, who struggle with solo scouting missions, Teemo excels in them. His remarkable success in safeguarding Bandle City from infiltrators has earned him a reputation as one of the most formidable yordles alive. However, you'd never guess his lethal prowess if you shared a cup of honey mead with him at his beloved inn. His favored weapon, a blowgun, employs a rare ajunta poison he personally collects from the jungles of Kumungu.

To combat the prolonged periods of isolation inherent in his missions, Teemo recently forged a friendship with Tristana, another member of Bandle City's Special Forces. In stature, Teemo may be pint-sized, but the fear he instills and the determination he embodies far surpass his diminutive appearance.

Teemo's Journal

Fortunately, Teemo keeps a journal where he writes about his adventures, and we have the chance to read some pages of this journal teemo has, the first page is about Freljord. Teemo's journal entry from his expedition to the frigid Freljord, the northernmost realm of Runeterra, delves into his adventurous quest to track down a formidable Rimefang wolf. As we peer into the thoughts of Bandle City's esteemed scout, we're granted a glimpse into his whimsical and determined spirit.

Upon arriving in the unforgiving Freljord, Teemo's initial excitement centers on the prospect of taming one of these majestic wolves as a potential pet. The wild and rugged Freljord landscape does little to deter his enthusiasm, even though he humorously pines for a warm, furry hat, gloves, and a green coat to combat the chilling cold--a testament to his enduring optimism.

However, the narrative takes an unexpected turn when Teemo finally encounters the wolf pack he's been tracking. What initially appeared to be fearsome wolves turned out to be something entirely different--they transformed into POROS! These lovable, fluffy creatures had apparently been polymorphed all along. Teemo is quick to attribute this magical mischief to one particular mage, Lulu, whose antics have a knack for interfering with his missions. He hilariously vents his frustration with a playful exclamation: "STOP MESSING UP MY MISSIONS, LULU LULU!"

The mention of Lulu and her whimsical sidekick, Pix, provides context to the magical mayhem that has befallen the Freljord. These mischievous characters revel in their enchanting spells and enjoy pranking the friendly poros of the region. Their adventures culminated in an extraordinary feat when Lulu's ambitious "biggify" spell transformed a regular poro into a giant poro. The local pros (presumably poros) celebrate this magical wonder, and in doing so, they welcome Lulu and Pix as their newfound friends, marking yet another enchanting chapter in the Freljord's whimsical tale.

Teemo's journal entry from his time in Ionia provides a glimpse into his adventures and encounters in the mystical land. It appears to focus primarily on an unexpected encounter with Kennen, a member of Ionia's Kinkou Order and a yordle known for his lightning-fast martial skills.

In the entry, Teemo describes how he was in the process of mapping uncharted forests in Ionia when Kennen suddenly charged at him, seemingly eager for a friendly sparring match. This introduction suggests Kennen's energetic and impulsive nature, as well as his enthusiasm for martial combat.

During their friendly skirmish, Teemo and Kennen find themselves being observed by unseen observers. Teemo, ever vigilant and resourceful, readies his blow darts, only to discover that the onlookers were not foes but rather forest spirits. This revelation highlights the magical and mysterious nature of Ionia, where such mystical beings exist. Teemo's expectation of encountering a dangerous creature, like a scaled snapper, is humorously juxtaposed with the reality of encountering benign spirits.

Lastly, Teemo contemplates the idea of recruiting one of the spirits as a pet but dismisses the notion, deeming them "too squishy." This comment showcases Teemo's practical and perhaps even cautious nature, despite his adventurous spirit.

Teemo's journal entry from his time in Bilgewater provides a vivid portrayal of the infamous pirate haven, known for its lawlessness and maritime chaos. It seems that Teemo, the intrepid Yordle scout, had ventured into this treacherous city for a particular purpose.

Firstly, Teemo expresses his displeasure with the distinctive aroma of Bilgewater. He describes it as a foul scent, akin to the combination of a deceased fish being devoured by another, followed by an explosive cannonball. This description paints a picture of the city's harsh and gritty atmosphere. Despite the unpleasant smell, Teemo recognizes the importance of his mission as a scout and resolves to press on.

The main reason for Teemo's presence in Bilgewater is revealed through a rumor mentioned by Tristana, another Yordle adventurer. According to this rumor, a soul-devouring sea-worm has been sighted within the city. Teemo sees this creature as the perfect pet and is determined not to leave Bilgewater until he finds it. This statement showcases Teemo's determination and his unique perspective on what constitutes an ideal pet, even if it is a formidable and sinister sea creature.

In contrast to Teemo's quest, the additional text provides insight into Tristana's adventures in Bilgewater. Tristana is described as an upbeat and gun-loving Yordle who seems to revel in the lawless and explosive environment of Bilgewater. Her latest adventure led her to acquire extra-explosive black powder to enhance her cannon, Boomer, though it appears that her plans didn't go as expected, resulting in a mishap that cost a pier.

Teemo's journal entry during his time in Piltover and Zaun provides a glimpse into the bustling, technologically advanced, and interconnected cities, as well as his experiences as a scout navigating these intricate urban landscapes.

Teemo begins by reflecting on the challenges of getting around these cities, emphasizing the density of the Zaunite population. He mentions that Corki, a fellow Yordle known for his piloting skills, provided him with transportation. However, the experience was less than pleasant due to Corki's incessant chatter. This comment adds a touch of humor to Teemo's account and highlights the contrasting personalities of the two Yordles.

Teemo also notes the prevalence of cats in Piltover and Zaun, even more so than in Bandle City, his home. This observation showcases Teemo's keen eye for detail and his ability to notice and appreciate the nuances of different places, even in bustling urban environments.

The final sentence, "Another Bandle Scout mission badge complete," suggests that Teemo's visit to Piltover and Zaun was part of a larger mission for the Bandle Scouts, an organization of Yordle adventurers. This mission badge completion reflects Teemo's dedication to his scouting duties and his willingness to explore diverse and sometimes challenging places.

The additional text provides context about Corki, a renowned Yordle pilot, and his adventurous spirit. It recounts an incident where Corki, in pursuit of a flying machine competition during Progress Day, accidentally collided mid-air with his challenger's hextech glider. The humorous description of the collision underscores Corki's reputation for daring feats and highlights the blend of innovation and eccentricity found in Piltover.

Surprisingly, Teemo decided to go to Targon too, he wanted to climb the mountain, few places are as inaccessible as the heights of Targon, a mountain some say reaches all the way to the stars. But for diligent, curious, and often oblivious Bandle Scout like Teemo, no peak is too perilous! Most looked on in confusion as the naive yordle began his ascent, and more looked on in awe as he came skipping back down, merrily crossing the Targonian mountaineering task from his meticulously maintained merit badge list. Why he decided to take to the mountain, and more importantly whether or not he actually made it to the top, remains a super serious Bandle Scout secret. But, just think of this, an ascended yordle, how would it be?

Champion's relations

When it comes to relations with other champions, Teemo is a yordle that has a lot of friends, but also enemies. From what we know, he is friends with Tristana, Lulu, Kennen and Corki.

Once, in Bilgewater, Graves captured Teemo, hoping to get some rewards from this, while his partner Twisted Fate decided to not be involved in this, as he knows what are yordles capable of, and he made the right decision, because Teemo's friends came to rescue him and Graves did not end up well.
