About Liandrug

Liandrug is the creator behind this independent gaming lore blog and its YouTube channel. The archive brings together character histories, world introductions and interpretations of conflicts across games, fantasy fiction and mythology.

Why these stories?

A name in a quest or a character on a battlefield usually belongs to a larger history. These guides follow that history: where someone came from, what they wanted, how they treated others and what their choices changed. For readers new to a setting, the aim is to provide a route into its stories. For returning fans, comparisons offer an argument to examine and discuss.

What you can read here

The archive covers Runeterra, Warhammer 40K, Elden Ring, AION, Westeros and other settings. Each article pairs a written guide with a channel video. The reading guides connect individual articles into longer histories, so you can begin with context before choosing a character.

Some older pages retain the voice of their original video scripts. Written updates can correct or expand an article while its video remains an earlier recording. Revised guides make those changes visible and link the relevant sources.

How to read a lore argument

A fictional event, a disputed account and a fan interpretation are different kinds of information. Power comparisons are editorial judgments, and adaptations can disagree with an older game biography. The sources and corrections page explains how to check a claim and how to flag an error.

Liandrug is a fan publication. Its connection to these worlds is an interest in their stories; no endorsement from their publishers is implied.
