Sources and corrections

Updated October 12, 2026

Liandrug is an independent lore blog and video channel. Its articles retell fictional events and explore why characters, factions and their choices matter. A retelling, a theory and an official account have different jobs; readers should be able to tell which one they are reading.

Checking a claim

For a character's identity or history, start with the original game, novel or publisher's material. Updated guides link relevant official pages beside the discussion or in a source section. These links support the stated facts; the interpretation around them belongs to the article.

Older articles in this archive began as video scripts and do not all have source lists yet. A missing reference is a reason to check the original material, rather than treat the article as a definitive source. Source links and corrections are being added as those articles are revised.

Canon, versions and interpretation

Fictional worlds change. A game biography, an older short story and a television adaptation may describe different versions of a character. A guide should identify the version it discusses and flag conflicts rather than combine incompatible accounts into one seamless history.

Power rankings and explanations of a character's motives are interpretations unless an official source explicitly settles them. Revised comparison articles explain their criteria and the evidence that could change a conclusion. Gameplay balance and a character's narrative power are separate subjects.

Articles and videos

The written guide can be updated while the embedded video remains an earlier recording. A visible revision note identifies substantial written changes. Original publication dates stay in place; an update is not a new publication.

Corrections

Email liandrugg@gmail.com with the article URL, the sentence in question and a source or in-game reference. Include an edition, quest, item description or chapter when it matters. Material corrections should explain what changed in the article, so returning readers can follow the revision.

Illustrations and rights questions

An illustration is not evidence of an event, appearance or relationship unless the article identifies it as an official reference. Game characters, settings and publisher artwork remain associated with their respective owners. For a credit, permission or removal question, email the image's page URL and the details needed to identify the work.

Independence

Liandrug is a fan publication, with no publisher endorsement implied. Advertising does not establish an article's accuracy. Any sponsorship or commercial relationship relevant to an article should be disclosed on that article.
